Dr. Weng Bo from Wiley Beijing Office visited the research group for academic exchange
On the morning of August 18, 2017, Dr. Weng Bo from Wiley Beijing Office visited the research group for academic exchange and visit, upon the invitation of Professor Tian Wei. Dr. Weng joined Wiley in October 2016 and currently serves as an editor for journals such as Advanced Functional Materials, Advanced Materials Interfaces, Macromolecular Journals, and Journal of Applied Polymer Science.
Dr. Weng delivered a lecture titled "How to Improve Journal Paper Publication? - Introduction to Wiley Materials Science Journals and Peer Review Process" for the faculty and students of the College of Science. From the perspective of an editor and reviewer, Dr. Weng explained some common issues encountered during the review process, which sparked wide interest among the attendees. They enthusiastically asked questions and engaged in discussions. Dr. Weng''s valuable submission experience also helped us avoid common pitfalls in future submission processes, enabling us to select suitable journals quickly and accurately.
