In the present study, APP and DOPO were used to impart flame retardancy to ramie/PLA biocomposites respectively. The flammability of the composites was deeply investigated by UL94, LOI and SEM measurement. The influence of APP and
DOPO on the mechanical properties of the biocomposites was also studied.
