Extraction of Astragalus Polysaccharides in Astragalus

The traditional method of extracting Astragalus polysaccharides in Astragalus in warter boiling and peecipitation with ethanol was improved in thei study. In order to get pure polysaccharides, proper temperature was selected to avoid simultaneously extracting some other species. The first extract shows a white appearance and its purity reaches more than 96%.Purity of the second extract is more than 99%.
